This unit integrates aspects of Bible, Art, and Language Arts into a Science teaching unit for grade seven. Beneath and Beyond is based on a week-long field trip during which all the major concepts of the Alberta grade seven Science unit on "Changes in the Earth's Surface" and many objectives from the grade eight unit on "The Earth's Crust" (2001 curriculum change) are taught and experienced first hand. This unit gives students the opportunity to consider (and practice) enjoying God's creation while minimizing their impact on it. 85 pages.
